A step-by-step animated instructional video demonstrating how advisors navigate FSA portals to locate student-level data and resolve common inquiries. The video incorporates intentional pacing, signaling, zoom-ins, and on-screen highlights to reduce cognitive load and support visual clarity.

Audio narration and structured sequencing ensure accessibility and support dual-channel processing for adult learners.

Change of Major/Minor & Undergraduate Forms Instructional Screencast Video

An instructional screencast designed to guide One Stop Service Advisors through navigating the Undergraduate Forms page on the UMass Boston website, with a focus on change of major and minor processes. The video demonstrates how to locate key forms, understand their purpose, and effectively refer students to the appropriate resources.

The screencast emphasizes clear, step-by-step guidance and real-world application, helping advisors build confidence in supporting students through common academic processes. By visually modeling navigation and decision-making, it reduces confusion and supports consistent, accurate referrals.

Backward Design Presentation Video

A presentation-style video designed to explain the principles of Backward Design and how they can be applied to create intentional, outcomes-driven learning experiences. The video walks through the process of identifying learning goals, determining evidence of understanding, and planning instruction to align with those outcomes. This was one of the first videos I created, and it is included to demonstrate my growth and development in video design, as well as my ability to adapt to different video creation platforms, as this project was developed using Biteable.

The presentation emphasizes clear structure and visual organization, breaking down the framework into manageable steps that are easy to follow and apply. By combining visual elements with guided explanation, the video supports comprehension of an instructional design approach that can often feel abstract or complex.

Created using NotebookLM and Descript to synthesize course readings and research, each episode translates theory into practical application for higher education and staff training environments.

The podcast emphasizes storytelling, reflection, and accessible audio design; modeling multiple means of representation while making complex pedagogical concepts conversational and actionable.

Audio Escalation Training for One Stop Staff

An audio-based training designed to guide One Stop Service Advisors on when and how to appropriately escalate financial aid inquiries to the Financial Aid Office. The training focuses on building decision-making skills to improve processes, reduce unnecessary escalations, and minimize additional workload across departments.

Designed for flexible, on-the-go learning, this training can be listened to while commuting or during downtime. It emphasizes clear, scenario-based guidance and practical application, helping advisors develop confidence in navigating complex situations and supporting students effectively. To support multiple ways of engaging with the content, a supplemental infographic was also created to visually reinforce key concepts and provide a quick-reference guide for use during daily work.
